I am mindful that "natural" and "catastrophic disasters" and "extreme weather events" that are happening with increased ferocity and frequency may be symptoms of planetary strain. Perhaps the Earth is in angry!

Like many, I feel compelled to undertake earth-healing actions. This involves direct work on the ground as well as learning through commun(icat)ion with others.

I prefer to accept that the ways of earth-healing are within us all as human beings, we understand innately, what Mother Earth requires of us. Did we really need science to tell us that cars create destructive air pollution? We really only need to stop and think before we act to determine whether a specific act is a healing or damaging. Because of our cultural baggage, individuals cannot (should not) take full responsibility for where we are, but we can, as individuals, change our futures.

This blog reflects Earth Healing by a single person, family or small social group within a rural setting. Those readers living in towns and cities are able to rely on Transition Towns and other excellent groups to guide their Earth Healing actions.
